It represents a deep respect for where we started, conviction in who we are today, and positivity and confidence around who we’re becoming.
The colour of energy, vitality, and light, the vibrant yellow ring represents our feeding and the work we do to combat hunger and malnourishment, and in creating food security.
Represented by red, the colour of passion, inspiration, and courage, the second ring reminds us of the importance of introspection, learning, and development in our work to empower Others.
The deep hue of purple, the healing band represents the psychosocial support work we do to heal past traumas, and lay the foundation for resilient futures.
A second, inner ring of seeds, representing our people. Our wonderfully diverse teams, volunteers, and supporters from around the world who share their skills to help transform the world through kindness.
The colour blue represents trust, confidence, and the culture of resilience we strive to nurture through education for children and adults.
Green is the colour of nature, hope, balance, and growth. It represents our farming, agriculture work, and our commitments to environmental sustainability and social impact.
An outer ring of seeds representing our sixteen targeted outcomes. From kindness and hope, we create opportunities which honour those who came before us, and whose work inspires ours.
Each perfectly imperfect ring surrounds and protects the very centre of all the work we do and the reason we exist - “Ubuntu” - the principle of “Humanity to Others”.
And finally, our name - The Dandelion Philosophy - a constant in uncertain times built on the principle that, like the seeds of the dandelion blowing in the breeze, kindness nurtures and inspires more kindness.
